Change of Field
Article 55:
A student may transfer from one field to another within the same university and exam group during their studies at the associate and bachelor's levels, provided that they meet the following conditions and obtain approval from the relevant educational group:
Note 1:
The transfer of students who are committed to specific executive organizations is permissible, provided all the conditions of this article are met and the relevant executive organization gives consent.
Note 2:
Transfers to fields that have specific conditions in their selection criteria are contingent on meeting the relevant conditions.
Note 3:
A student may change their field only once during each level of education.
Article 56:
Field transfers occur between equivalent educational levels; otherwise, transfers are only allowed from a higher level to a lower level.
Article 57:
If the request for a transfer is approved, the student is required to register in the new field at the earliest opportunity. After registration, the student does not have the right to return to the previous field.
Note:
Failure to register in the new field by the designated time will be considered as withdrawal from the transfer, and the right to change fields will be revoked for the duration of the program.
Article 58:
The courses that the student completed in the previous field will be reviewed and equivalently credited in the new educational group. Only those courses that the educational group deems to have content overlap with the new field will be accepted, and the score for each must not be less than 12.
Note 1:
The accepted courses will be recorded in the student's transcript, and their grades will be calculated in the overall average. However, the grades of the rejected courses will remain in the student's transcript without affecting the average. In this case, if the total of the rejected credits is less than 12, it will collectively be considered as one conditional semester for the student in the new field.
Note 2:
If the number of rejected course credits is such that it prevents the student from completing the required credits in the new field within the allowed duration of study, their request for a field transfer will not be approved.
Emergency Field Transfer
Article 59:
If a student experiences a disease or incident during their studies that hinders their ability to continue in that field or to benefit from the outcomes per the disability tables, they may transfer to a different field compatible with their previous studies within the same exam group, provided it is the closest score to their entrance exam score. In this case, the student will be exempt from meeting the conditions specified in Article 55 (except for clause 1) and Article 57.
In cases where a student, due to disability or illness, cannot continue studying in any of the relevant exam group's fields, the university's educational commission will decide on transferring the student to a field in another exam group after a thorough review of the issue.
Article 61:
A student wishing to transfer must submit their request along with the required documentation to the university's education department at their place of study at least six weeks before the start of the academic semester.
Article 62:
Transferring from the bachelor's level to the associate level is allowed. In this case, the maximum allowed study duration for these students will be calculated based on the associate degree, and for every 20 accepted credits, one semester will be deducted from their total study period.
