Preparing and proposing general principles for educational programs such as: educational and research affairs, admission and registration, conducting doctoral exams, and student theses, and presenting them to relevant authorities for approval and ensuring their proper implementation after approval.
Reviewing, studying, and assessing the feasibility of new fields of study at the master's and doctoral levels and presenting them to relevant authorities.
Providing the necessary grounds to facilitate and expedite educational affairs of students through coordination with relevant units.
Examining, controlling, and supervising the process of issuing enrollment certificates and introducing students to relevant authorities within the framework of related regulations.
Reviewing and studying to update and streamline the guidelines for preparing, developing, and organizing student theses and supervising the proper implementation of the related guidelines.
Supervising student projects and theses such as: reviewing proposed topics and reporting to the Graduate Studies Council, notifying the student of the topic after approval, examining the progress of thesis-related affairs, issuing defense permits, appointing supervisors, and issuing permissions for duplication and binding, etc., in coordination with relevant authorities and within the framework of related regulations.
Reviewing and reflecting the report on the payment of the judging committee's remuneration for defense sessions to relevant authorities.
Planning and supervising the process of conducting doctoral exams such as: admitting students, registering participants, designing exam questions, interviewing accepted candidates, etc., in coordination with relevant authorities and within the framework of related regulations.
Actively and continuously participating in committees, commissions, and legal bodies.
Regular and continuous evaluation of graduate studies and reporting on the progress of activities and issues to the relevant vice presidency.
Performing other duties as assigned within the framework of responsibilities.
