 Applicants for Transfer and Guest Status
From May 1 to May 31 for the upcoming academic year (two semesters, first and second), applicants should submit their requests through the Educational Services System of the Student Affairs Organization. (Amendment 12, date: 91/02/03, No. 41/4/19718). The approval of both the origin and destination universities, which is carried out through the website, is necessary.
Term Withdrawal
Under special circumstances, a written request from the student and approval from the university's education department is required prior to the examination period. (Paragraph 3 of Amendment 12 is also executable)
Emergency Withdrawal (Single Course)
A student is allowed to withdraw from one course (non-practical and non-workshop) on the announced date, provided that, firstly, the total number of credits for students admitted after 91 does not drop below 14 credits, and for students admitted before 90, it does not drop below 12 credits; secondly, the student’s absence in that course does not exceed 3/16 of the classes (Article 18 of the approved regulations from Meeting 399 dated 1376/02/14 and Paragraph 2 of Article 12 of the Executive Regulations)
Change of Major
Undergraduates can change from one discipline or area to another within the same test group or to a different test group in the same institution if they meet the following conditions:
a- The requested discipline or area exists in the same institution.
b- The student’s score in the national entrance exam must not be lower than the national score for that discipline or area in the institution (in the admission year).
c- The student must be able to continue their education within the remaining allowable years.
d- Approval from the educational group and confirmation from the institution's educational council.
Note: A student can change their major or area only once during each academic period while adhering to the aforementioned conditions. Leave of Absence
A student may take a leave of absence for one semester in the associate degree and non-continuous bachelor's programs, and for two semesters in the continuous bachelor's program.
