Who are the outstanding talent students?

Students who meet one of the conditions listed below can benefit from admissions facilitation to the master’s program without entrance exams:

A) Winners among the top fifteen in the final round of student scientific Olympiads for entry into the selected field or related fields as introduced by the Olympiad's secretariat.

B) National exemplary students introduced by the Student Affairs Deputy of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, provided they are ranked among the top fifteen percent by total average among students of the same field and entry year.

C) Winners of the top three ranks in reputable scientific festivals such as Kharazmi, Young Kharazmi, Razi, and Farabi in their related field or educational group regarding their innovative project, introduced by the secretariat of each festival with at least thirty-five percent participation.

D) Exceptional undergraduate students who, after completing six semesters with at least 100 credit hours, rank among the top ten percent by total average among students of the same field and entry year and graduate within a maximum of eight semesters.

E) Exceptional undergraduate students who, after completing six semesters with at least 100 credit hours, rank among the top twenty percent by total average among students of the same field and entry year and graduate within a maximum of eight semesters, and have the following national ranks in the nationwide exam conducted by the Organization for Educational Assessment:

    * Rank below 100 in the Mathematics and Physics group

    * Rank below 100 in the Experimental Sciences group

    * Rank below 50 in the Humanities group

    * Rank below 20 in the Arts and Language group

 

Note 1: According to Article 2 of the "Providing Facilities to Scientific Winners for Admission to Higher Education" regulation, eligible individuals can benefit from admission facilitation to a higher degree without an entrance exam for one year after graduation and only once per educational program. Therefore, graduates who have completed one year since their graduation and meet one of the above conditions can also utilize the admission facilitation for a higher degree without an entrance exam.

 

Who can be considered as outstanding talent students?

According to the approved regulations, students who are considered outstanding talents are as follows:

  1.      Winners of the nationwide entrance exam as introduced by the Organization for Educational Assessment.

  2.      Winners of national student scientific Olympiads introduced by the Ministry of Education (according to the decisions of the Supreme Cultural Revolution Council regarding the admission of distinguished students to universities without participating in the nationwide entrance exam).

  3.      Winners of the Kharazmi Festival introduced by the Organization for Scientific and Industrial Research of Iran.

  4.      Students who do not meet the above criteria but are recognized as distinguished students by the relevant educational group and the university’s educational council due to exceptional characteristics will be introduced by the university to the council so that, upon approval from the Outstanding Talent Guidance Council, they can benefit from the related regulations.
