According to the public relations office of the university: Concurrent with Government Week, the Shahid Shahryari Sports Hall and Central Laboratory were inaugurated at Qom University of Technology with the presence of Engineer Yazdan Mehr, advisor to the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, and the President of the Student Welfare Fund.
The Shahid Shahryari Sports Hall features a body composition analyzer, two treadmills, a stationary bike, one hundred square meters of sports mats, six table tennis tables, two foosball tables, five darts, aerobics equipment, and TRX bands. This facility was constructed, equipped, and inaugurated in the past month with the round-the-clock efforts of university officials.
The Central Laboratory, regarded as one of the most equipped laboratories at Qom University of Technology, was inaugurated with the aim of facilitating optimal usage of existing laboratories and workshops at the university. It includes equipment such as a scanning tunneling microscope (STM) and atomic force microscope (AFM), UV-VIS spectrophotometer, single-cathode sputtering, ZU101-B deionized water production system, and Internal Mixer.
During a meeting attended by Engineer Yazdan Mehr, President of the Student Welfare Fund, and Engineer Rahimi, Financial Manager of the Student Welfare Fund, Dr. Rezayi Noor welcomed the attendees and congratulated them on Government Week, expressing gratitude and appreciation for Engineer Yazdan Mehr's unwavering support. He stated, "Thanks to the Almighty God and the round-the-clock efforts of university officials, we are witnessing significant activities at Qom University of Technology."
The President of Qom University of Technology added, "Given the growth and expansion of the university, establishing skill development workshops, and constructing futsal, volleyball, and basketball courts are among the university's future plans."
Moreover, the advisor to the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, while thanking Dr. Rezayi Noor for his tireless efforts, said, "The growth and advancement at Qom University of Technology are clearly visible, and undoubtedly one of the factors contributing to this university’s promotion is the presence of its efficient and young team."
At the end, Engineer Yazdan Mehr, recognizing the diligent efforts of the officials at Qom University of Technology, announced support for the construction of a new cafeteria, artificial turf, and a student residence at the university.
