According to the public relations office of the university: During a meeting between Dr. Rezai Noor, the President of Qom Industrial University, and Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Sharifidoost, the head of the office of the Supreme Leader's representative at the university, with Dr. Noorazad, the head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Amir Kabir Industrial University, initial discussions took place regarding bilateral cooperation between Qom Industrial University and the Mechanical Engineering Department of Amir Kabir Industrial University.
In this meeting, Dr. Noorazad, while welcoming and congratulating Dr. Rezai Noor on his appointment as President of Qom Industrial University, expressed his pleasure at the beginning of the collaboration between Qom Industrial University and the Mechanical Engineering Department of Amir Kabir Industrial University.
Furthermore, important topics such as utilizing Dr. Noorazad's capabilities and experiences to attract university benefactors, establishing a joint doctoral program, and leveraging the academic resources of Amir Kabir Industrial University were discussed.
Dr. Noorazad referred to his experiences in attracting benefactors, particularly at Tafresh University, and added: "Given the capabilities of Qom Industrial University, after reviewing the university's development plan, we will invite benefactors for a tour of Qom Industrial University, and thereafter, we will take necessary actions to commence the construction of the new university site."
The President of Qom Industrial University regarding the establishment of a joint doctoral program stated: "After preliminary negotiations and signing a memorandum of understanding between the two universities, we will follow-up the necessary steps through the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology."
At the end, Dr. Noorazad announced the readiness of the Mechanical Engineering Department of Amir Kabir Industrial University for Qom Industrial University students to utilize the laboratory and workshop facilities of this university.
