Health Monitoring Plan for Incoming Students of 93

The health monitoring plan for physical and mental well-being specifically for newly admitted undergraduate and graduate students at Qom Industrial University has been implemented.
According to the public relations office of Qom Industrial University, Mr. Nasiri, the head of the university's counseling and health center, stated: Considering the emphasis from the central office of counseling and health at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology on the implementation of the physical and mental health monitoring plan, this section is considered one of the stages of registration for new incoming students, and it is mandatory for all 93 incoming students to participate in the health monitoring plan.
He highlighted the history of implementing this plan in previous years, adding: The monitoring plan has been executed annually for the physical and mental health of daily incoming students of that year. However, this year, based on the announcement and emphasis from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, this plan will cover all daily and night students.
Mr. Nasiri, the head of the counseling center at Qom Industrial University, emphasized that the staff of this center will complete the records and provide the specified acceptance date for each individual during the registration and document submission days for newly admitted students, thereby conducting the health monitoring for students.
He referred to the execution stages of this plan, adding: In executing this plan, the screening of physical health, mental health, and also the well-being status of students will be examined and scrutinized. Students will participate in this plan by filling out initial questionnaires and undergoing medical examinations, and the health and counseling center will review the received information and, if necessary, address any issues that require follow-up. He emphasized: In this stage, referrals for tests and detailed examinations by a doctor to achieve optimal results will be the repeated concern of this center.
Mr. Nasiri regarded the goal of holding this plan as obtaining general information on the health of new incoming students to address their physical and psychological problems and assist in resolving them.
It is noteworthy that in addition to monitoring the physical and mental health of the 93 incoming students, workshops on life skills, time management, and academic planning will also be held in the initial months of the academic year.
