The Deputy Minister and Head of the Student Affairs Organization: The primary responsibility of universities is to address the issues of the province and the country.

According to the public relations office of the university: Concurrently with the birthday of Ali Akbar (AS), Dr. Sadiqi, Deputy Minister of Science, Research, and Technology and President of the Student Affairs Organization, participated in the Youth Day ceremony at Qom University of Technology, which was organized by the university's staff Basij, and inaugurated several construction projects at Qom University of Technology.
Dr. Sadiqi noted that creating greater comfort for students is one of the main concerns of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
During his visit to Qom University of Technology, he highlighted this university's scientific and research advancements and added: Today, the country's problems are resolved with the presence of youth, especially university students. Currently, the platform for movement and progress has been provided for the youth.
The Deputy Minister stated: Having more than thirty universities and higher education institutions in Qom province is considered one of its honors. In discussions with the province's officials, especially Dr. Sarmast, the governor of Qom, universities must be involved in solving the province's problems. Essentially, the primary responsibility of universities, especially in Qom, is to address the problems of the province and the country.
He added: One of the achievements of the Islamic Revolution is that with the growth and expansion of higher education, the admission of young people into universities is no longer a dream or an unattainable wish.
Dr. Sadiqi regarded the creation of comfort and the provision of necessary facilities for students as one of the main concerns of the Ministry's officials, Science, Research, and Technology.
The President of the Student Affairs Organization stated: Upgrading the quality of student dormitories, industrializing kitchens, and equipping university sports halls are among the actions taken by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology for the well-being of students.
Furthermore, Dr. Rezaei Noor, President of Qom University of Technology, referred to the positive changes and transformations made in 1397 and mentioned the programs for 1398.
He identified attracting non-Iranian students, building a free restaurant, utilizing the capacity of benefactors for the development of dormitories and sports facilities, recruiting young and distinguished faculty members, and enhancing educational, workshop, and welfare spaces as part of the plans set for 1398.
 It is worth mentioning that after the ceremony to honor the deputies and managers of Qom University of Technology, the inauguration of the new building for the Faculty of Engineering, workshops in polymer engineering, civil engineering, hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and the data center and high-performance computing (HPC) center at Qom University of Technology were among the programs of the one-day visit by the Deputy Minister and President of the Student Affairs Organization in Qom province.
