According to the public relations office of the university: The Norooz visit and meetings of the professors and staff of Qom University of Technology took place in the prayer room with the presence of the university's board members.
During this ceremony, in addition to reciting Ziyarat Aminullah and the Norooz visits, Dr. Rezai Noor, the president of Qom University of Technology, expressed his condolences to the compatriots affected by the recent flood after extending New Year and the blessings of the holy month of Rajab. He added: Considering that in the crisis management divisions of the country, Qom province is designated to assist Lorestan province, the Qom University of Technology has taken measures to help the flood victims of Lorestan province.
He considered the year 1397 (2018) as a fruitful year for Qom University of Technology and added: Last year, with the efforts of all staff members, we witnessed positive changes, including improvements in processes and construction activities in the university.
Dr. Rezai Noor, while appreciating and thanking the technical, administrative, and support unit of the university, added: During the Norooz holidays, the esteemed colleagues in the technical, administrative, and support unit were constructing the Faculty of Engineering, which, thanks to God, was completed in the shortest time and with minimal cost.
He added: The new Faculty of Engineering includes 9 classrooms and 2 specialized rooms for scientific associations, addressing the needs of students.
The president of Qom University of Technology emphasized that since the Supreme Leader of the Revolution (may his shadow be exalted) designated the year 1398 (2019) as the year of production boom, we must assist in the production boom through qualitative growth in education and research. In this regard, according to the established plans, we will achieve a 20% growth in attracting faculty members.
He added: I hope that with the efforts of the professors and students, we can elevate the educational and research standards of this university. Also, with broader activities at the university's innovation center, we can witness entrepreneurship, production, and growth in the industry at the provincial and national levels.
Continuing, Hojjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Ghorbani Mobin, head of the representative office of the Supreme Leader at the university, congratulated the New Year, deeming the year 1398 as hopeful and added: This year is a year of opportunities. The precipitation of divine mercy is one of these signs. Although proper management could have turned floods into blessings and mercy, the thirsty lands of the country were irrigated by these very rains.
He referenced verses from the Holy Quran related to the revival of nature in spring and stated: The wonders of nature in spring prompt one to reflect on how the Almighty God grants life to the dead.
