According to the public relations of the university: The ten-year anniversary of Qom Industrial University was held with the presence of provincial officials, professors, staff, and students of this university in the Shahid Akhundi Conference Hall.

In this celebration, Dr. Ali Pour, the Deputy for Pilgrim Affairs of the Governorate, while considering his several years of managerial experience in industrial centers, said: Thank God, Qom Industrial University has made significant progress over the past ten years, and with the presence of seven industrial estates in the province, this university can play a very important role in the growth and flourishing of the industry in the province.
He pointed out that the practical aspects of medical and dental courses should be emphasized, stating: Industrial fields, like medical and dental specialties, must start their practical work from the very beginning to better master skills and integrate into the job market.

Dr. Ali Pour added: Our industry needs the presence of skilled and knowledgeable engineers, but unfortunately, there is a significant gap between industry and academia. This gap can be bridged by creating trust between industrialists and academics.

Continuing, Dr. Rezaei Noor, the President of Qom Industrial University, welcomed everyone and congratulated them in advance on the new year and the tenth anniversary of Qom Industrial University, stating: This university, as an industrial university, has three missions in the areas of resistance economy, entrepreneurship, and job creation, which must be actively pursued, and undoubtedly it can bring growth and development to the industry of the province and the country.
He added: This year has been very productive for Qom Industrial University, as significant and effective actions have been taken at the university due to the tireless efforts of the officials, managers, and staff. Establishing the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, equipping the Shahid Mashkooh Al-Sadat Library, constructing and equipping the Information Technology Center and Data Center, utilizing the Shahid Shahriari Sports Hall, adding 600 square meters to the university's laboratory and workshop spaces, building a Technical and Engineering Faculty, constructing a residence for faculty members, and undertaking initial actions for establishing an artificial turf field, renovating and developing the university's green spaces, setting up wellness rooms in student dormitories, constructing a wastewater treatment plant, and supplying the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering with air conditioning for proper heating are some of the construction projects at Qom Industrial University.
He further stated: In 2018, we witnessed advancements in education and research at the university. Preparing and approving amendments to the executive instructions, utilizing special research funding (grants), approving amendments to the incentive guidelines for authors of articles in reputable journals, approving guidelines to encourage student papers, signing 6 scientific and research collaboration memorandums, and activating the center for free and virtual education were among the actions taken in this area.
Dr. Rezaei Noor emphasized the importance of cultural and social activities for students, stating: Weekly programs such as "A Night with the Quran," weekly gatherings at Jamkaran, and events held at the sacred shrine of Hazrat Fatimah Masumeh (SA) were part of the cultural programs in 2018.
He added: Given the rising prices, we have made efforts to maintain the quality of student meals for their convenience. In this regard, installation of kitchen equipment, changes to the meal program based on the opinion of the student welfare council, and repairs and upgrades of equipment for food reservation and distribution were actions taken in the nutrition sector.
The president of Qom Industrial University referred to organizing various sports competitions for students' enjoyment and added that in 2018, we witnessed the remarkable performance of both female and male students in karate, physical fitness, and swimming at the provincial level.
