According to the Public Relations Office of the University, Qom University of Technology has transformed from a small local university into an international university that contributes to the knowledge-based economy for the development of the industry in the province and the country through tireless efforts. This university currently comprises three faculties: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Technical and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, equipped with labs and workshops catering to nearly 2,000 students and 72 faculty members across 28 programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. A rise of 10 places in the university ranking according to the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) in 2021, a rise of 22 places based on the latest ranking by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) in 2023, the inclusion of two faculty members from Qom University of Technology, Dr. Hadi Zeyani, a faculty member of the Electrical Engineering department, and Dr. Mostafa Talebi, a faculty member of the Mechanical Engineering department, among the top two percent of scholars worldwide, the entry of Qom University of Technology into the Scimago international ranking system for the first time in 2023, the acquisition of publication permission for Qom University of Technology from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, earning the title of top researchers in the province in recent years in various technical, engineering, basic science, student, and innovation fields, the selection of Qom University of Technology as the secretariat for the Iran Mathematical Physics Conference, hosting the second international conference on distributed computing and systems, conducting the annual conference on smart materials and structures, a significant increase in the number of scientific papers published in the Web of Science and Scopus citation indices, and a remarkable rise in the number of research projects and contracts.

A 56% increase in faculty members, final approval for establishing the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from the Higher Education Expansion Council, final approval for establishing the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Higher Education Expansion Council, final approval for accepting students in the doctoral program of Mechanical Engineering from the Higher Education Expansion Council, final approval for accepting students in the doctoral program of Industrial Engineering from the Higher Education Expansion Council, final approval for admitting students in the master's program of Nano-Engineering with a focus on Nano-Electronics, final approval for students' admission to the master's program in Organic Chemistry, and final approval for student admission in the undergraduate Metallurgy program.

Ranking first in the employment of undergraduate graduates based on the report of the Office of Industry Relations of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology in 2020, ranking second in the employment of undergraduate graduates according to the same report in 2021, ranking ninth in the employment of master's graduates in 2021, ranking third in undergraduate graduate employment in 2023 according to the Ministry's report, ranking seventh in the employment of master's graduates in 2023, achieving tenth place nationally by Qom University of Technology in conducting skill enhancement courses for students in 2022 among universities, research institutes, and higher education centers, launching a skill training program during study titled Skills Enhancement in 2022, achieving third place nationally in the number of faculty members who utilized research leave in industry in 2022, achieving fifteenth in the number of contracts related to community and industry in 2022, achieving ninth in the ratio of funding for graduate thesis support to the total number of graduate theses in 2022, achieving sixth among universities, research institutes, and educational and research centers in the indicator of the highest faculty research leave opportunities in 2023, and ranking fourth in conducting specialized courses among universities, research institutions, and higher education centers in 2023.
Administrative and Financial
A fourfold increase in the capital and operational budget from 2018 to 2023, converting 61% of the university's personnel from fixed-term contracts to permanent contracts, converting 44% of university personnel from fixed-term contracts to permanent contracts, converting the employment status of 60% of faculty members from temporary to permanent probationary or permanent confirmed, a significant increase in the per capita sports resources of the university.
Plans and Programs
Elaboration of detailed organizational charts and positions approved by the university's Board of Trustees, the Budget and Organization Office, and the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, development and approval of job descriptions and criteria for positions, development and approval of the responsibilities of organizational positions, formulation and approval of the university's strategic document, drafting a university productivity document, and formulating a strategic document for the horizon of 2025 which identified issues in four areas: education, research, human resources, and the economy of higher education, along with operational solutions for addressing these challenges.
Construction Activities
Expansion of the library and the information technology center covering an area of 400 square meters, land development and green space expansion at the university covering 8,000 square meters, construction of Shahid Shahriari Sports Hall and an artificial grass field, each occupying 1,200 square meters, establishing a parking lot covering 1,000 square meters, the innovation center and shared workspace of the university covering 720 square meters, upgrading and fully equipping the university's Shahid Akhondi conference hall, constructing and consolidating classrooms (building 36 classrooms in an area of 2,800 square meters), building and consolidating workshops covering 7,000 square meters, and acquiring a 5,000 square meter plot of land to establish the first student dormitory close to Qom University of Technology.
Information and Communication Technology
The establishment of a high-performance computing center and data center
Transitioning the university's internet infrastructure to fiber optic and increasing bandwidth
Equipping the technology center with a dedicated advanced G10 server for effective online classes (with the capacity to support 2,000 students simultaneously in 600 classes per term)

Cultural ActivitiesAchieving third place in per capita cultural activities, fourth in the number of cultural activities, fourth in per capita cultural expenses among universities and higher education institutions, hosting the International Mourning Festival of Fatimi Sanctuary, organized by Qom University of Technology in four areas: research, literature, art, and media, holding the university's imam-husseini mourning processions at the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatima (PBUH), and hosting a university pilgrimage in Karbala for the occasion of Arbaeen.
Physical Education
Achieving first place in the badminton event in Region 4 competitions by Ms. Zahra Zandi, a student of Qom University of Technology, winning the championship title in karate for girls at the second sports olympiad for students in universities and higher education institutions of Qom province, and winning a karate medal by a student of Qom University of Technology at the second sports olympiad for students in universities and higher education institutions of Qom province.
