According to the Public Relations Office of the university: Dr. Rezai Nour, the President of Qom University of Technology, congratulated the arrival of the year 1398 in the Persian calendar with a message. The full text of this message is as follows:
بسم الله الرّحمن الرّحیم
O Turner of hearts and sights, O Manager of night and day, O Transformer of conditions and circumstances, transform our situation to the best state.
The year 1397 was a year of ups and downs, and certainly fruitful for the scientific community of the country. A year in which we witnessed scientific growth, research dynamism, and advancement in the fields of science and technology under the approach of scientific management and the ethical oversight of the esteemed Minister and the efficient and hardworking Council of Assistants.
The year 1398, designated by the Supreme Leader (may his shadow last) as the Year of Production Boom and Economic Jihad and named by the honorable President as the Year of Enhanced Effort and National Cohesion, is a year of opportunities. In the current conditions of the country, enhancing higher education and a knowledge-based economy can enhance the economic situation of the country. University scholars, with renewed efforts and collaboration alongside industrialists and entrepreneurs, can contribute to job creation, improvement of the national economy, greater independence of the country, and increase exports.
I hope that in the year 1398, through a more active role of the scientific and academic community in producing and delivering quality Iranian services, we witness the development and elevation of our dear homeland's position.
