According to the university's public relations office: In a meeting with the cultural officials of Qom University of Technology and the Cultural and Social Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr. Ghaffari stated that Qom University of Technology can serve as a cultural model for other universities in the country.
Dr. Karimi, the Student and Cultural Deputy and Hojjatoleslam Valmuslameen Tabatabai, the cultural director of Qom University of Technology, met and discussed with Dr. Ghaffari, the Cultural and Social Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology.
In this meeting, Dr. Ghaffari referred to the presence of the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (S), the Jamkaran Mosque, and the Islamic seminaries of this city, calling it the mother of the cities of the Islamic world. He stated that there are very good cultural potentials in this city, which can disseminate the pure Islamic and Iranian culture across the country with the assistance of the esteemed authorities of religious jurisprudence.
He added that in this regard, Qom University of Technology, as a young and developing university, could excel in implementing diverse cultural programs by utilizing these capacities and also become a cultural model for other universities in the country.
Dr. Ghaffari emphasized that, given the approach of Dr. Gholami, the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, towards enhancing culture in universities, comprehensive support will be provided for special cultural initiatives.
Dr. Karimi, the Student and Cultural Deputy of Qom University of Technology, thanked Dr. Ghaffari for his warm consideration towards the university and highlighted the cultural activities of this institution. He further stated: The initiatives aimed at empowering cultural activists and training coaches for modesty and hijab are among the university's special projects, which we hope will be implemented nationwide in all universities with the cooperation and support of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
