Cultural and Social Deputy of the Minister of Science, Research and Technology: The increase in the number of graduates in society does not indicate desirable scientific growth.

According to the public relations office of the university: The fifth graduation ceremony of Qom University of Technology was held in the Shahid Akhondi conference hall of the university, with the presence of the Cultural and Social Deputy of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, several provincial officials, and 110 graduates of this university along with their families, organized by the Cultural and Social Management.
During this ceremony, Dr. Ghafari, the Cultural and Social Deputy of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, while inaugurating the office of the Supreme Leader's representative in the university, stated at the fifth graduation ceremony of Qom University of Technology that this day is one of the most memorable days in the lives of every educated individual.
He added: The increase in the number of graduates in society does not indicate a desirable scientific growth. In the country, the statistics of graduates at the bachelor's and postgraduate levels are very high; however, the scientific advancements of the country are far from the standard and desirable levels. This emphasizes that a university population is necessary for the country's progress, but it is not sufficient.
Dr. Ghafari stated: If universities invest not only in scientific training but also in areas such as insight, commitment, and awareness of students, they have paved the way for comprehensive scientific growth.
The president of Qom University of Technology continued: Through negotiations with prominent universities around the world, Qom University of Technology is becoming one of the international universities in the country.
