According to the Public Relations Office of the university: The working group meeting for facilitating and removing production obstacles in Qom Province was held with the attendance of Dr. Sarmast, the Governor of Qom, Dr. Razaei Noor, the President of Qom University of Technology, and managers from other executive agencies in the meeting hall of one of the manufacturing units in the province.
In this meeting, the President of Qom University of Technology pointed to the unprecedented interaction formed between scientific and industrial centers in the province, stating that due to the positive attitude and scientific approach developed in the macro-management of Qom, the connection between university and industry will be seriously strengthened from this year.
Dr. Razaei Noor added: If the industrial units in Qom provide a precise diagnosis regarding their problems related to solving issues, there is full readiness at scientific centers to address their concerns.
He also emphasized: To accurately and completely implement the macro policy of production boom, we should not solely focus on the issue of financial support and working capital for industrial units; the shortage of specialized human resources is one of the primary needs of manufacturing units.
He continued: Neglecting the important matter of research and development, issues related to developmental phases, as well as export marketing are urgent needs that can be resolved through the connection between industry and university.
Dr. Razaei Noor added: The aging of production line machinery and lagging behind the latest technologies worldwide are also significant problems for the industry in the province, which can be controlled by strengthening the link between science and industry.
The President of Qom University of Technology stated: The scientific teams of the university are fully prepared to identify the problems of the industrial units in the province and to improve the current situation.
He pointed to the necessity of supporting innovative production ideas, stating: Supporting and bringing new ideas related to industrial issues to production and backing knowledge-based companies are important approaches of Qom University of Technology.
Dr. Razaei Noor referred to the importance of accurate market research in target markets and stated: Manufacturing companies that cannot reach the stage of innovation and idea generation in accordance with new demands will face stagnation and recession.
