According to the Public Relations Office of the university, officials from Qom University of Technology met and conversed with Dr. Kalantari, the Deputy Minister of Cultural and Social Affairs of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. In this meeting, a report was presented on the cultural programs of Qom University of Technology. Dr. Rezaei Noor, the President of Qom University of Technology, referred to the cultural engineering of this university in the implementation of its cultural and social programs. He added that, given the significance of the holy city of Qom, the officials of Qom University of Technology have sought to consider not only the academic growth but also the cultural and spiritual development of students. Dr. Rezaei Noor described the students of Qom University of Technology as culturally concerned and added that the establishment of a camp in honor of Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (AS) in Karbala and also at the holy shrine of Fatima Masumeh (SA) commemorating her passing has been conducted with the cooperation of students, faculty, and staff. The President of Qom University of Technology stated that the scientific associations of this university are preparing themselves by holding skill development courses to enter the job market as proficient and experienced engineers. In this regard, university officials also provide comprehensive support for them. Recently, to facilitate the activities of the scientific associations, their office has been equipped and they are functioning together in a complex. Dr. Rezaei Noor added that holding the International Fatemiyah Mourning Festival is among the other cultural programs of Qom University of Technology. This festival is held every year with increasing audience participation and has been upgraded from a national level to an international level. Dr. Kalantari, the Deputy Minister of Cultural and Social Affairs of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology also acknowledged the impactful activities of Qom University of Technology in the cultural and spiritual domain and stated that the Cultural and Social Office of the Ministry of Science will offer special support for valuable and effective cultural programs in universities. He added that, considering the presentation of targeted cultural programs in universities, the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology will extend its support to ensure the successful execution of these programs.
