Meeting between the President of Qom University of Technology and the CEO of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA)

According to the public relations office of the university and as reported by the political correspondent of IRNA, Dr. Jalal Rezaei Nour, president of Qom University of Technology, met and discussed with Seyed Zia Hashemi, the CEO of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
During this meeting, the IRNA CEO stated: IRNA should be a hub for the movement of elites and university professors because reflecting the ideas, achievements, and opinions of the elites enriches and enhances the media landscape and also serves the universities, ensuring that the thoughts and accomplishments of professors and researchers do not remain confined to the university environment but are shared with interested parties and the audience.
He added: For this reason, we regularly meet and hold discussions and sessions with university colleagues at IRNA, and senior managers of higher education and university presidents have significant interactions with IRNA.
Hashemi pointed out that universities have many capabilities and events, and one of IRNA’s priorities is to reflect the activities of the academic community. He continued: Based on this, we established the university service at IRNA last year. Therefore, our assistance to universities is to be able to reflect their news, events, and achievements in scientific, cultural, technical, and industrial fields.
The IRNA CEO continued: IRNA can engage in many joint activities with universities, meaning our colleagues at IRNA can define projects or you can propose them, holding joint sessions at IRNA or the university, and in fact, the interactions and ideas presented from both sides can be conducted through synergy.
He added: The assistance you can provide us at the university is to propose or implement ideas in the industrial, technological, scientific, or cultural domains and provide them to us.
In continuation, Jalal Rezaei Nour, president of Qom University of Technology, remarked: One of my concerns is the proper coverage of important news and events of the university in the news agencies, so we have tried to follow up on this process.
