According to the Fars News Agency from Qom and reported by the Public Relations Office of Qom University of Technology, the academic community of Qom province issued a statement expressing special support for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
More than 40 university organizations and groups in Qom province issued a statement condemning the European Union's labeling of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization, declaring their support for this revolutionary institution.

Indeed, those who say, "Our Lord is Allah," and then remain steadfast—there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is the offspring of the revolution. The Guards of the Corps are soldiers of God, soldiers of the Quran, soldiers of truth, and soldiers of the highest human values that no one can deny.
The defenders of the sacred Islamic system are the youth from the early days of Islam who serve with heart and soul, with love and dedication to Islam and the people.
Now that the tyrannical regimes of the global oppressors, as sworn enemies of this land, due to their intense anger from multiple failures in achieving their nefarious goals, are attempting to use their last remaining arrows and, in complete foolishness, are disregarding all international laws and norms, attempting to place the official and esteemed body of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on their fraudulent and discredited list of terrorism, it is necessary to remind that previously, in 2019, the chief of the European-affiliated governments, namely the United States, resorted to such a desperate action, which ultimately led to no outcome and did not harm the political and military relations of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
We, the academics of Qom province, consider this baseless action as a factor in creating insecurity and violating peace and tranquility in the sensitive region of West Asia, and an affront to the sovereignty and national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and we declare that, as in the past, we will stand hand in hand with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to defend the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the ideals and achievements of the Islamic Revolution until the last moment.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is the legitimate armed force of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and labeling this armed force as terrorists by the terrorism-supporting governments is absurd, especially considering the shameful record of the origin of the ISIS phenomenon, the killing of millions of innocent people in the Vietnam War, attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan, and the martyrdom and disappearance of hundreds of thousands of Muslims which are blots of shame on the West.
Today, if global arrogance has targeted the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran, it indicates that the Corps has been able to thwart the enemy's nefarious and devilish goals by relying on its spiritual, political, and technological power. And if today, global arrogance cannot even imagine a thought of aggression against the sacred soil of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it is due to its fear of the military capability and spiritual strength of the Corps.
The intellectual community of Qom province condemns the recent action of the European Union and declares its full support for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its effective and constructive role in establishing security and tranquility in the country and region. Furthermore, it prays for the continued success of the commanders and the selfless forces of the Guards under the leadership of the Supreme Leader and the esteemed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
In conclusion, we recall the words of martyr Beheshti (may peace be upon him) who said: "Of course, America is angry; of course, America is upset. America is angry at these institutions. It is angry at those faces and personalities that have outlined the anti-imperialist line as the main line of this revolution in its external dimension. It is angry at those who say that at this moment, our main enemy is America. It is angry at newspapers that inform the people along this line. It is angry at the political organizations that mobilize and organize the nation along this line. But tell America to stay angry and die from its anger. Our nation is exactly as you see and know, and one must tell them that this nation still has many unknown dimensions that you are unaware of."
