The 47th anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution provides an opportunity for reflection on past achievements and a deeper consideration of the path ahead during this sensitive period. The academic community, with a heightened sense of responsibility, reaffirms its role in knowledge production, the promotion of rational thinking, and the strengthening of national cohesion, and calls upon the loyal people of the Islamic Republic of Iran—especially its esteemed youth—to preserve national unity and solidarity.
Recent regional and domestic developments, including certain internal challenges in the month of Dey, have further highlighted the importance of safeguarding national integrity and maintaining calm and sustainable security as the foundation for any form of progress and development. Contemporary Iranian history has repeatedly demonstrated that, in times of trial, unity of purpose, avoidance of extremism, and reliance on rationality and the rule of law have consistently served as guiding principles for overcoming crises.
The Faculty Council strongly condemns derogatory remarks and unfounded statements attributed to the President of the United States against the religious authority and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as well as decisions taken by foreign ministers of the European Union against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Such positions are regarded as a sign of the desperation and failure of global arrogance.
In this regard, the great nation of Iran should be assured that any conspiracies formed through the collaboration of global arrogance, the illegitimate Zionist regime, and traitorous agents have once again faced failure, as in the past.
Qom University of Technology, as one of the pillars of the country's scientific community, considers any form of violence, threats to public security, or actions outside the framework of law that hinder development and peaceful coexistence to be inconsistent with human dignity and the national interest. Instead, it emphasizes rational dialogue, respect for citizens' rights, and collective efforts to find sustainable solutions within the legal framework of the country.
The faculty members of the University regard it as their vital responsibility in this critical period to guide intellectual discourse toward hope, strategic foresight, and a focus on national priorities, including scientific development, technological advancement, and educational equity. We believe that the future of our beloved Iran depends on cooperation and solidarity among all its citizens, and that universities must serve as strongholds for cultivating such unity.
The memory and struggle of all the esteemed martyrs and servants of this land—whether in the defense of territorial integrity or in scientific and social arenas—will always remain a guiding light. The continuation of this path is only possible through science, ethics, adherence to law, and selfless service to the people.
Accordingly, the Faculty Council of Qom University of Technology, in line with the directives of the Supreme Leader and in pursuit of national unity, prays for a future filled with peace, progress, and solidarity for Iran, and calls upon all members of the academic community to practice patience, cooperation, and mutual understanding under the banner of a proud and united Iran.
