**Introductory Meeting on the Programs and Facilities of the National Elite Foundation Held at Qom University of Technology**

According to the Public Relations Office of Qom University of Technology, the “Introduction to the Programs and Facilities of the National Elite Foundation” meeting was held at the Shahid Akhoundi Conference Hall of Qom University of Technology, with the presence of Dr. Montazeri, Head of the National Elite Foundation of Qom Province, as well as a group of faculty members and students.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Jafar Ghanbari, President of Qom University of Technology, extended condolences on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of حضرت فاطمه زهرا (SA) and welcomed the esteemed head of the National Elite Foundation. He emphasized the special role of universities in moving toward a third-generation and entrepreneurial university model. He stated that third-generation universities, through the development of innovation ecosystems, incubation centers, accelerators, and entrepreneurial environments, facilitate the transformation of knowledge into wealth and problem-solving capacity.

Dr. Ghanbari, referring to the effective cooperation between Qom University of Technology and the National Elite Foundation, stated that in previous years, four faculty members of the university had received the **Kazemi Ashtiani Award**, and one faculty member along with two non-faculty members had been recruited through the Foundation’s support programs.

He also highlighted the admission statistics for the year 2025–2026, noting that 10 master’s students were admitted to PhD programs, while 152 bachelor’s students progressed to master’s level. He stated that these figures reflect an improvement in the university’s educational quality.

The President of Qom University of Technology further emphasized the significant growth in scientific and research activities, noting that research contract revenues had increased by 700% in the past year. He stressed that universities must increasingly move toward problem-solving, community engagement, industry-oriented research, and student-centered approaches.

In continuation, Dr. Montazeri, Head of the National Elite Foundation of Qom Province, appreciated Qom University of Technology for hosting the event and stated that the university is one of the scientific prides of the province and should benefit even more from the programs and facilities of the National Elite Foundation.

He highlighted the importance of the **Shahid Vazvai Program**, which is designed for talented and outstanding students, and explained its details and benefits to the participants.

Dr. Montazeri also introduced the features of the **Amouzesh-Yar (Education Assistant)** and **Pazhuhesh-Yar (Research Assistant)** programs, emphasizing the importance of students taking advantage of these opportunities.

At the end of the session, the Head of the National Elite Foundation responded to the questions raised by faculty members and students and stressed the continuation of joint cooperation in the future.
