According to the Public Relations Office of the university, Dr. Ghanbari, President of Qom University of Technology, met and held discussions with Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimin Aghajani, the Custodian of the Holy Jamkaran Mosque.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ghanbari presented a brief overview of the university’s capacities, activities, and programs, emphasizing the importance of leveraging the cultural potential of the Holy Jamkaran Mosque to enhance the university’s cultural and educational activities. Referring to the significant role of these capacities in strengthening educational foundations, he identified the upbringing and development of students—particularly incoming freshmen—as one of the university’s key priorities.
In response, Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimin Aghajani expressed readiness for cooperation and the provision of cultural facilities at the Jamkaran Mosque. He described education and upbringing as a divine mission, stating that sincerity is the most important criterion in this path. He further emphasized the vital role of professors in student development, noting that the influence of a teacher’s character on students is profound. He stressed that a university becomes a proper environment for growth when competent and impactful professors are present, and that the first condition for student success is constructive engagement with effective instructors.
The Custodian of the Jamkaran Mosque also highlighted the sensitivity of cultural work, stating that even a single negative word or action can cause harm, just as a director can create deep impact within a limited scene. He further described a three-day academic retreat (iʿtikaf) for students at the Jamkaran Mosque as an effective initiative and a form of cultural “vaccination.”
In conclusion, he reaffirmed the Holy Shrine’s readiness for cultural and educational cooperation and expressed willingness to support joint programs aimed at serving the academic community.
The meeting focused on strengthening cultural, educational, and scientific cooperation between Qom University of Technology and the Holy Jamkaran Mosque.
