**Appointment of the New Head of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office at Qom University of Technology**

According to the Public Relations Office of Qom University of Technology, during a ceremony held with the presence of officials from the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office in Universities and the province, Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimin Dr. Ali Mohbi was appointed as the new head of this office.

At the ceremony, Dr. Ghanbari, President of Qom University of Technology, welcomed the attendees and expressed condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her). He stated that the university is responsible for educational services, while the Representative Office is responsible for educational and moral upbringing affairs.

He further emphasized that knowledge alone is not sufficient, and that purification, worldview development, and self-awareness are also essential requirements.

He also expressed appreciation for the services of Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimin Dr. Qorbani Mobin, the former head of the office, and highlighted his positive qualities, including humility and close cooperation with the university’s administrative and academic bodies. He further acknowledged the establishment of faculty religious groups, the “Sirat al-Thaqalayn” assembly, and other cultural initiatives during his tenure. At the conclusion of his remarks, the university president wished success for the newly appointed head of the office, Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimin Dr. Mohbi.

Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimin Dr. Taqavi, head of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office in Universities of Qom Province, also expressed gratitude for Dr. Qorbani Mobin’s efforts, stating that both the province and Qom University of Technology would continue to benefit from his capacities. He identified “the Qur’an, divine days (Ayyam Allah), and the servants of God” as three essential pillars of cultural activities.

Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimin Dr. Qorbani Mobin, the former head of the office, welcomed the attendees and expressed condolences. He also extended his sincere gratitude to the entire university community for their unwavering support.

He described serving the people of Qom and being in proximity to the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah Masumeh (peace be upon her) as a great blessing and honor, and presented a report on the activities carried out during his tenure.

Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimin Khoshneviszadeh, Deputy for Human Resources at the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office in Universities nationwide, expressed appreciation for the efforts of Dr. Qorbani Mobin and wished success for Dr. Mohbi. He described serving in the city of Qom as a great honor, noting that many staff members request to serve in this city, while available positions are limited.

He further emphasized that universities in Qom should serve as role models for other universities across the country.

Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimin Dr. Mohbi, the newly appointed head, also welcomed the attendees and expressed appreciation for the efforts of his predecessor. He described the distinction between Islamic and Western universities as being rooted in the integration of knowledge and spirituality, which, he stated, has the potential to astonish the world.

Referring to the events of the Sacred Defense period, he remarked that in the “12-day war,” Iran demonstrated a position that left the global powers of arrogance regretting their actions for eternity.

In conclusion, Dr. Mohbi extended a hand of cooperation and friendship to all members of the university community and called for their support in continuing the path ahead.
