🔹According to the Public Relations Office of Qom University of Technology, the “Science and Jihad Memorial” ceremony was held at Qom University of Technology in commemoration of Martyr Yousefvand and Martyr Khodaei. The ceremony, attended by university officials, the respected families of the martyrs, and a large number of students, emphasized the continuation of the path of the martyrs and the role of scientific jihad in advancing the goals of the Islamic system.

🔸At the beginning of the ceremony, the President of Qom University of Technology welcomed the honorable families of Martyrs Yousefvand and Khodaei and stated: “The university may appear to be a place for attaining academic degrees, and our fundamental duty is to teach science and technology; however, in practice it is a place for human growth and excellence in all dimensions. The war that took place was a technological war, in which the output of engineers and technologists educated at universities played a decisive role in determining its outcome.”
🔹He added that Qom University of Technology is proud that the output of its universities has been able to confront and ‘punish’ the enemy, and emphasized: “Achieving the highest academic degrees at the university is possible, although it requires significant time and effort. However, there is another path to attaining the highest ranks, and that is the path of martyrdom in the way of God. The respected martyrs Yousefvand and Khodaei, from the Qom University of Technology community, are examples of this.”

🔸Dr. Qanbari, emphasizing the importance of taking scientific jihad seriously in universities, stated: “We must deliver scientific and technological products to the country. It is our duty as academics to, through proper orientation of scientific and research pathways, provide our dear country with products that both respond to the technological needs of society in general and, more importantly, deliver technological outputs that can assist the defenders of our national security and discourage any thought of aggression by the enemies of the independence and freedom of our Islamic system.”
🔸In continuation of the ceremony, Hojjatoleslam Wal-Muslimin Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, while making general remarks on the lofty status of martyrdom and the necessity of honoring it, stated: “Martyr Khodaei was among those who always had a smile on his face, and spending time and conversing with him was always pleasant for everyone.”
🔹He added: “Commander Yousefvand is also among the martyrs who are a source of pride for Qom University of Technology and the entire country, and their memory and names will remain everlasting.”

🔸Hojjatoleslam Wal-Muslimin Joushaghani, the special speaker of the ceremony, stated that although the country has consistently lost great scientific martyrs, “the pure blood of these martyrs is what advances the flag of Islam.”
🔹Referring to the recent war in the region, he said: “The enemy was unable to inflict heavy damage on us in this war; however, their media did not allow the realities of the war to be properly covered in their countries.”
🔸The director of the Institute for Narration of Martyrs’ Biography added that the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be destroyed and will pay a heavy price, stating: “The disgraced Zionist president has repeatedly said that wherever I look, I see Khomeini and Khamenei. This reflects the influence and impact of the Islamic Revolution.”
🔹He further noted Iran’s scientific achievements after the revolution, stating: “After the Islamic Revolution, most scientific achievements and Olympiad honors have belonged to Iran. Iran will not allow the economic heart of the region to fall into the hands of the Zionist regime.”

🔸At the end of the ceremony, he emphasized the role of the doctrine of Velayat-e Faqih (Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist), stating: “Relying on Velayat-e Faqih and its strong foundation, we were able to conquer all key strongholds, and these victories were achieved only through its support. The ultimate destination of all of us is martyrdom; how fortunate are these two great martyrs for attaining this lofty virtue and status.”
🔹At the conclusion of the ceremony, the families of Martyrs Yousefvand and Khodaei were honored through the presentation of commemorative plaques and gifts.
