According to the public relations department of Qom University of Technology, a ceremony commemorating June 3rd and the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr was held at Qom University of Technology with the presence of Hojjatoleslam wa Muslimin Mr. Pour Mohammadi, head of the Islamic Revolution Documents Center.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by Dr. Ghanbari, the acting president of Qom University of Technology, who extended condolences for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Javad (peace be upon him) and referred to June 3rd as a great and inspiring day in the history of the Islamic Revolution.
Emphasizing the significance of this day, he noted: June 3rd is a day of epic-making for the humble men who, with empty hands but firm faith and trust in God, drove the heavily armed enemy out of Khorramshahr and created a miracle in the history of the Sacred Defense. Additionally, June 4th, known as Dezful, the city of resistance, showcases the perseverance and faith of the people against a relentless enemy.
Dr. Ghanbari added: The Sacred Defense was a university where lessons of faith, self-sacrifice, and martyrdom were taught, and the students of the Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace) school became the shining stars of the history of the revolution.
Continuing the ceremony, Hojjatoleslam wa Muslimin Pour Mohammadi expressed condolences for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Javad (peace be upon him) and commemorated June 3rd, stating: We take pride in living in a land that has been home to such great men, from whom we draw inspiration and perseverance.
He highlighted the difficult conditions during the Sacred Defense, asserting: The Islamic Revolution had only recently triumphed, and the country was grappling with numerous challenges, from internal chaos and seditions to external pressures and threats. In such harsh circumstances, our warriors, relying on faith, unity, and trust in God, created miracles and expelled the Ba'athist enemy and its global supporters from the country's soil.
Hojjatoleslam Pour Mohammadi emphasized: The culture of June 3rd means standing firm, utilizing all capacities, exercising creativity in tough situations, and showing mutual respect. Wherever this culture prevails, crises can be overcome and success achieved.
Referring to the achievements of the Sacred Defense, he mentioned: One of the significant achievements of the war was the skills of our warriors in rebuilding and optimally utilizing equipment; the enemy did not anticipate that a nation freshly emerged from a revolution could demonstrate such creativity in the field.
At the end of the ceremony, a Q&A session took place with students and professors, where Hojjatoleslam Pour Mohammadi answered the posed questions.
