According to the university’s public relations department, Dr. Salehi, the Deputy for Research at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, announced the approval of the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law aimed at the self-sufficiency of the country during his visit to the laboratories, workshops, and the innovation center of Qom University of Technology. The Deputy for Research stated: The Supreme Leader has emphasized that the Persian language should become the global language of science. Therefore, academics must strive with motivation and increased effort to realize this important goal. He added: The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology will fully support all research projects and activities in universities. Dr. Salehi mentioned that the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law, with its specific amendments and additions, serves as an incentive for researchers and even industrialists who turn to universities. He considered the mission-oriented approach of universities to be very essential and added: In numerous meetings with the Ministry of Interior and governors, the emphasis has been placed on making universities mission-oriented, especially industrial universities. The province must cooperate to the fullest with mission-oriented universities to prevent any parallel efforts within universities. The President of Qom University of Technology stated: The implementation of the Industry Partner Program, which is one of the innovative initiatives of this university, has resulted in increased employment for students, which can serve as a model for other universities in the country as well. Achieving the first and ninth ranks in the employment of graduates at the bachelor’s and master’s levels is due to the implementation of this program. Dr. Rezaei Nour added: With the special support from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, Qom University of Technology has managed to secure the third national rank in the index of faculty members who have utilized study opportunities in society and industry. Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the Head of the Supreme Leader’s Office at Qom University of Technology, congratulated the decade of Wilayah, stating: Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) says: There is one among my descendants in Qom, whose intercession will admit people to paradise. We are in the presence of such a great lady, so we must also act as a model for others. He added: The universities of Qom must be a model for other countries both scientifically and culturally, as well as spiritually. Therefore, officials should also provide the necessary groundwork for this important undertaking. Additionally, Dr. Soleimani, the Deputy for Educational and Research Affairs of the university, presented a report on the research status and the upcoming plans of the university in the field of research. He stated: The establishment of research laboratories in educational groups, special support for startups, planning for the commercialization of innovative ideas, and the establishment of an HSE system in laboratories are among the upcoming programs of the Educational and Research Affairs of Qom University of Technology.
