According to the university's public relations report, Qom University of Technology has officially joined the SiviLika collection. From now on, faculty members and students of this university can utilize articles from the SiviLika collection.
SiviLika is a specialized encyclopedia for all scientific disciplines. The aim of its establishment is to create a suitable platform to prevent the dispersion of research results and studies of Iranian researchers and scientists, as well as to keep informed about upcoming conferences in the country. This database serves as a powerful tool for article reviewers and graduate students who are currently working on their theses, and it is indeed one of the greatest achievements of this platform in breaking down centralization and eliminating geographical barriers and distances to access information and knowledge.
SiviLika began its activities in 2005 (1384 in the Persian calendar) and currently presents articles from all scientific disciplines classified into four main categories: Physical Sciences and Engineering, Health Sciences, Biological Sciences, and Social Sciences.
At present, some scientific and academic centers in Iran, by providing access to SiviLika resources, have enabled their researchers and students to use articles from the country’s conferences. Therefore, Qom University of Technology has also facilitated research for professors and students by joining the SiviLika database.
Free access to the search section and the ability to view abstracts and information about articles is provided, while access to the original articles requires a subscription. Researchers from member centers can automatically access the original articles based on their IP, and other researchers can acquire the original article they need through membership purchase or individual article purchase.
