Dr. Rezai Noor, President of Qom University of Technology, regarded its young and elite faculty, dedicated staff, and creative students as the university's assets and added: Considering the strategic conditions of the holy city of Qom, particularly the presence of foreign students and the significant potentials at Qom University of Technology, we have the capability to operate in the international domain.
He stated: Academically and research-wise, Qom University of Technology has been selected as the secretariat of the provincial nanotechnology headquarters. The university's Innovation Center stands out with twelve innovative projects within region 4 of higher education. The opening of the Startup Empowerment Club has created opportunities for research, entrepreneurship, and job creation for students.
The President of Qom University of Technology added: All laboratories and workshops at the university have been upgraded in terms of physical space and laboratory equipment. Additionally, for the sake of efficient management of laboratories and workshops and the convenience of students, the consolidation of laboratories and workshops has been implemented.
He further stated: The electrical laboratory of Qom University of Technology is exemplary and efficient in the province. Preliminary steps have also been taken to establish a calibration laboratory.
He announced the formation of a space and building task force at the university and added: The consolidation of laboratories and workshops, the renovation of the library, the information and communications technology center, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science, as well as the sectors for Student and Cultural Affairs, and Educational and Research Affairs, have all been carried out with special planning and precise calculations.
Dr. Rezai Noor reported on the expansion of cooperation between Qom University of Technology and the Engineering System Organization, Technical and Vocational Organization, and the University Jihad Foundation, and added: Given the implementation of the industry helper plan for the first time in the country by Qom University of Technology, it is crucial and necessary to train students to enter the job market, and through various skill-training courses, over 80% of the university's graduates have been absorbed into the job market.
The President of Qom University of Technology announced a 40% increase in the university's public budget with the support of provincial and national authorities and stated: The budget for asset ownership, equipping, and repairing the university has grown by 250%. Additionally, by equipping the university's kitchen with new cooking appliances and upgrading the dining hall, we are ranked in the group of top-level universities.
