According to the public relations office of the university and as reported by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) branch in Qom: Dr. Jalal Rezaei Noor, President of Qom Industrial University, along with a group of university officials, visited the infertility treatment center of the IRGC in Qom.
During his visit to the scientific, research, and treatment activities of the university's IRGC staff, Dr. Rezaei Noor expressed hope that numerous scientific and research collaborations would take place between the IRGC and Qom Industrial University.
While touring the embryology section and operating room of the IRGC's infertility treatment center, Dr. Rezaei Noor became acquainted with the adverse effects of economic sanctions on the procurement and maintenance of medical equipment for treatment facilities and expressed readiness for scientific collaboration with the industrial university to design and produce necessary medical equipment.
He considered the IRGC's specialized medical information technology services center to be one of the leading centers in the information technology industry and expressed pleasure at the prospect of accepting internships for students from Qom Industrial University at this center.
The president of Qom Industrial University announced the transformation of the university into a job-oriented institution in the near future and expressed hope that Qom Industrial University, as an entrepreneurial university, can have effective collaboration with the IRGC.
Dr. Mohammad Heydari, President of the IRGC in Qom, also appreciated the numerous proposals for collaboration with Qom Industrial University from its president during this meeting and stated that the IRGC is fully prepared to collaborate with the industrial university in various fields of activity.
Dr. Heydari referred to the acceptance of students from Qom Industrial University as guest researchers and added that students can benefit from precise equipment and the support of researchers from this revolutionary organization by referring to the research department of the IRGC.
At the conclusion of this meeting, the establishment of an IRGC branch at Qom Industrial University, the acceptance of internships for students of this university at the IRGC, research activities based on needs, cultural activities, and continuing education for students of Qom Industrial University were agreed upon by both parties.
