Mechanical engineering is an important branch of science and technology which has different applications in many industries such as car factories, refinery, cooling, air conditioning, aerospace technologies, powerplants, nuclear industry, and so on.
The School of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2020. Before this, it was under the Engineering School in Qom University of Science and Technology. Now, this school cores different topics including Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, and Engineering Physics. The school currently have 17 full-time faculty members, and 500 full time enrolled students. This educational institution has different educational and laboratory equipment playing an important role in research and training of specialist in the scope of mechanical engineering.
