The Administrative and Support Services Management is responsible for the execution and follow-up of university support activities, including public services, welfare services, recruitment, transportation, landscaping, optimizing and developing physical spaces based on overarching documents, maintaining and operating buildings and facilities, etc. This management plans, coordinates, and directs a wide range of services to enable the university to achieve its defined objectives, therefore it holds significant importance. 
In line with these responsibilities, it has continually strived to create a foundation for the better realization of the university's mission, placing the planning for balanced development and implementation of a resistant economy among its priorities. This can only be achieved by continuously monitoring the performance of the sector’s units, assessing their strengths and weaknesses, and utilizing that information to forecast future activities.

**Duties and Authorities of the Administrative and Support Affairs Management**

1-  Determining policies and supervising the proper implementation of administrative and support activities at the university level.

2-  Implementing the university's policies and guidelines in areas related to administrative, employment, welfare, and support affairs.

3-  Preparing and drafting necessary administrative regulations, circulars, and instructions to be submitted to relevant authorities based on university rules and approvals, and communicating them to all units after approval.

4-  Ensuring the enforcement of disciplinary regulations, investigating employee violations, and referring matters to the competent disciplinary boards.

5-  Planning to secure the university's required human resources, presenting necessary plans and proposals, and handling all employment-related matters for both faculty and non-faculty members in collaboration with the University's Budget and Planning Management.

6-  Forecasting annual promotions and changes in rank and grade for employees with the assistance of relevant units.

7-  Procuring and supplying necessary tools and equipment for various university units and ordering them from domestic and foreign sources in full coordination with relevant units.

8-  Creating and maintaining a personnel database and service and administrative records for all university personnel.

9-  Supervising the execution of all university support and service affairs and delivering them to various units.

10- Preparing plans related to the general welfare of employees and supervising the proper implementation of said plans.

11- Planning and supervising optimal methods for managing the university's employment affairs.

12- Supervising the correct implementation of employment regulations and providing necessary guidance.

13- Cooperating in the preparation, drafting, and revision of the university's job description portfolio, organizational chart, and positions with the University's Budget and Planning Management.

14- Conducting short-term training and in-service courses for non-faculty members.

15- Endeavoring to organize empowerment and knowledge enhancement courses for non-faculty members.

16- Cooperating with the University's Budget and Planning Management in classifying employee jobs.

17- Identifying and determining the career categories and fields for organizational positions based on job classification plans, in coordination with the University's Budget and Planning Management.

18- Supervising attendance, full-time scheme, overtime, and the appointment of employees (faculty and non-faculty).

19- Participating in various meetings and commissions, expressing opinions, and providing necessary proposals.

20- Handling all university warehousing affairs.

21- Addressing employee welfare and retirement matters and making necessary decisions.

22- Supervising the employee evaluation process.

23- Cooperating with the Protection Unit in safeguarding buildings, property, and facilities.

24- Performing major repairs to restore and maintain existing buildings and facilities in coordination with the Technical Affairs Group and supervising construction projects.

25- Participating in meetings for preparing and drafting the personnel budget for employees.

26- Performing other tasks assigned by higher authorities.
