The industry-university communication meeting of the province was held with the presence of relevant officials with the aim of expanding the connection between industry and university at Qom University of Technology.
According to the public relations report of the university; the working group meeting on industry-university communication of the province took place with the presence of Dr. Rezaei Nour, President of Qom University of Technology, Dr. Roshan Cheshm, Advisor to the Governor, Engineer Ahmadim, Deputy Research of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization, Engineer Jandqi, one of the officials of the Engineering Basij of the province, and Dr. Rasti, Director of Industry Relations at Qom University of Technology, among others.
In this working group, issues related to introducing student soldiers to the industry and the scholarship process for distinguished students in the province's industries were discussed for better industry-university communication.
In the industry-university communication working group of the province, initial topics for holding a Reverse Pitch event in collaboration with West Steel were raised, discussed, and reviewed. (Reverse Pitch events are new occurrences in the entrepreneurial space in which, unlike similar events, organizations are requested to present a subject based on their needs for startup teams to address, and this time it is the startup teams that must provide a solution. Local entrepreneurs find an opportunity during this event to create an innovative product tailored to the organization's requests).
Additionally, it was decided in this working group that the secretariat of the province's universities would provide industrial and entrepreneurial resumes of university professors in the form of a booklet to familiarize industry owners with these professors.
Following up on establishing an office entitled "Industry-University Relationship Office" within the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization was among the other resolutions of this working group.
