In the name of God
Basij is the devoted army of God. (Imam Khomeini, may his soul rest in peace)
Since the establishment of Basij until today, this popular institution has been recognized worldwide as a symbol of authority, resilience, and unity. Undoubtedly, despite the plots and intrigues of the sworn enemies of Islamic Iran, if it were not for the intelligent and insightful Basij forces, the enemies would have achieved their sinister goals and turned proud Iran into a playground for the leaders of imperialism.
Basij is an ideology that has brought growth and prosperity to the country in political, military, economic, scientific, and cultural arenas. In this context, the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be long) states: Basij means the capable force of the nation in all fields.
On this occasion, while honoring the memory of the martyrs and sacrificing Basij members, I congratulate the anniversary of the establishment of this sacred institution on all the valiant and dedicated Basij members of Islamic Iran, especially the Basij members of Qom Industrial University. I hope these dear individuals, by following the wise words of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be long), succeed and be triumphant in the all-encompassing elevation of Islamic Iran.
