According to the Public Relations Office of the University: Dr. Rezaei Noor, the President of Qom University of Technology, honored the fifth of Azar, the anniversary of the formation of the Basij of the Oppressed, with a message. The full text of this message is as follows:
In the Name of God
The Basij is a source of enthusiasm for the youth, a beacon of hope for friends, and a cause of concern for enemies. The Supreme Leader (may his shadow last forever)
In the atmosphere of oppression during the tyranny, Imam Khomeini (RA) began his activities against the tyrannical regime, backed by the God-seeking and anti-imperialist people of Iran, and together with these people, the victory of truth over falsehood was achieved. Following that, during the eight years of sacred defense, under the leadership of the late Imam, with the unity and sacrifice of the noble people of Iran, a golden page of victory was recorded in the history of the Revolution.
Undoubtedly, the Basij-like activities of the noble Iranian people, filled with love, sacrifice, unity, and empathy, have brought about the comprehensive victory of Islamic Iran in vital and critical situations of the country.
Today, despite all conspiracies, obstructions, threats, and sanctions, we take pride in the presence of Basij youth in scientific, jihadist, economic arenas, and... in the face of the utmost disbelief of our enemies, we have been able to stand tall and proud.
On behalf of the academic community of Qom University of Technology, I extend my congratulations to all Basij members on the anniversary of the establishment of the Basij of the Oppressed, and I hope that with trust in the Almighty God and following the wise directives of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow last forever), you will be successful and prosperous in the development and prosperity of Islamic Iran and in realizing the lofty goals and ideals of the late Imam.
