Message from Dr. Khoshnevissan, President of Qom University of Technology, on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Master Morteza Motahhari and Teacher's Day.

(In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful)

Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know? Only those who possess understanding will take heed."
Are those who know equal to those who do not? It is only a reminder for those with wisdom.

                                                         Surah Az-Zumar, Verse 9

Education and training is a great trust from God Almighty in the capable hands of teachers and professors, whose selfless efforts are the key to the material and spiritual advancement of humanity.
The 1st of May marks the day commemorating a man whom Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace) referred to as a strong support in religious and scientific domains. Indeed, Professor Shahid Morteza Motahhari played a significant role in the victory of the Islamic Revolution by enlightening the people, guiding the political struggles, and influencing the revolutionary youth.
While honoring the anniversary of Professor Motahhari's martyrdom and congratulating Teacher's Day, I hope that the devoted teachers of Islamic Iran, by becoming familiar with and following the path and methods of this esteemed professor, along with relying on God Almighty and adhering to the guidance of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be prolonged), will bring about the comprehensive growth and flourishing of this ancient land.
