Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we will return
The rituals of Hajj, which symbolize the unity, empathy, and solidarity of Muslims, echo the call of "Here I am, O Allah, here I am. You have no partner; here I am," reaching the ears of the world with men and women, old and young, black and white. This year, the pilgrimage was held under circumstances overshadowed by tragic events, such as the collapse of a construction elevator in the Masjid al-Haram, a fire at a hotel for pilgrims in Medina, and the heartbreaking incident where a significant number of pilgrims were killed during the stoning of the devil. Dr. Khoshnavian, the president of Qom University of Technology, extended his condolences to the revolutionary and martyrdom-respecting people of Iran and to the grieving families of those dear individuals. He also expressed support for the three days of public mourning proclaimed by the Supreme Leader (may his shadows be extended) and urged the authorities to address this tragic event and to pursue the punishment of those responsible.
