According to the Public Relations Office of the university: Dr. Bahram Khushnavisan, the President of Qom Industrial University, expressed his condolences for the loss of the crew members of the Iranian oil tanker with a message. The text of this message is as follows:
"Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we shall return"
The tragic news of the fire and sinking of the oil tanker Sanchi in the waters of eastern China and the loss of its hardworking crew members has caused great sorrow and distress among the noble people of Iran.
I extend my condolences to the people of Iran and the grieving families of these dear ones for the loss of these brave souls who sacrificed their lives in the service of our Islamic homeland, and I pray to the Almighty for forgiveness and abundant mercy for the deceased, and for the bereaved, I wish immense patience, health, and peace.
It is hoped that the relevant authorities will thoroughly investigate the causes and aspects of this painful incident, to prevent such unfortunate events in the future and to provide solace to the families in mourning.
