In this exchange, Dr. Khoshnavisan, the Vice Chancellor for Educational and Research Affairs, expressed gratitude to the professors and emphasized the great importance of research at the university. He added that faculty members play a significant role in universities, as despite sanctions, they will bring about self-sufficiency and the revival of the economy, and by training research-oriented students, they will pave the way for their entry into the job market, becoming a strong asset for the university's revenue generation.
Dr. Khoshnavisan acknowledged that considering the youthfulness of Qom Industrial University, according to the plans made, we will have a robust research infrastructure from now on. Given that Qom is adjacent to Tehran, the main competitors of Qom Industrial University are universities such as Sharif University of Technology and Amirkabir University, so we must utilize all our potentials in all areas, especially research.
He also mentioned the lack of facilities and equipment in universities, stating that faculty members must be capable enough to present their research projects and ideas under any circumstances. If we lack the necessary equipment, we will turn to software activities, and in any case, we will enhance research at Qom Industrial University.
Dr. Khoshnavisan announced during this discussion that special privileges will be offered to professors with approved research proposals.
