The Minister of Science, Research and Technology stated;
the continuity of remarkable scientific achievements and assets acknowledged by global bodies; despite challenges/The Leader of the Revolution described the scientific advancements of the country as "very good"/The President's appreciation for Iran's scientific growth
According to the Public Relations Office of the university, citing the General Department of Public Relations of the Ministry of Science, the text of the minister's letter addressed to Dr. Boroumand states:
It is a source of pride and honor that despite all the challenges and constraints imposed by the ruling system to suppress and marginalize the movement of science and technology in our beloved country, we continue to witness remarkable achievements and assets that are recognized and confirmed by global scientific bodies.
Fortunately, this year, when presenting the report of activities and what has been achieved in recent years to the Supreme Leader, he deemed the reported advancements very good, and the esteemed President also commended the obtained achievements.
This is a valuable opportunity to praise the efforts and determination of you, Dr. Kashmiri, the esteemed heads of universities and science and technology parks, and all colleagues in the field of research and technology, as this itself is a recognition and honoring of the place of science and thought. We believe that valuing and respecting the efforts and passions of those who dedicate their strength and valuable lives away from unfounded noise and frivolity to the advancement of knowledge and scientific capability is a worthy endeavor; because it illuminates the path for the young members of the great family of the country's scientific research and technology system, demonstrating that wanting is being able, and showing that with continuous effort, one can still witness brilliance and fresh growth despite numerous adversities and hardships.
I consider it my duty to commend the efforts and dedication of all the dear individuals in the field of science and research and to wish you, who with confidence, good character, and hope dedicate all your efforts to achieving the scientific development goals of the country, health, pride, and success from the Almighty God.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Gholami sent a report regarding the performance of the past year in higher education of the country to the Supreme Leader, and after reviewing it, he wrote in a brief note: "The reported advancements are very good; both points mentioned below the report should be pursued by the Ministry of Science and other relevant sectors."
In recent months, President Hassan Rouhani, after receiving the written report from the Minister of Science and also in several comments and speeches, including his remarks at the International Kharazmi Festival in late Bahman (February), appreciated the scientific advancements of the country in recent years.
