(The collaboration between Qom Industrial University and the industry of the province is expanding more and more)
According to the university's public relations: Considering the mission of Qom Industrial University to train specialized and efficient workforce and to enhance the connection between industry and university, a brainstorming session was held on Saturday 92/11/26 with the presence of the President and Vice Presidents of the Organization of Industry and Mining, as well as professors from Qom Industrial University.
In this brainstorming session, Dr. Mashkooh Al-Sadat welcomed Mr. Ali Pour, the President of the Organization of Industry and Mining, and his accompanying delegation, announcing the university's readiness to collaborate in research and inquiry fields with the province's industries. He added that this collaboration is primarily dependent on further communication between the industries and the university, which could take place through scientific visits of students and professors to the industries for executing research projects.
Furthermore, Engineer Ali Pour, the President of the Organization of Industry and Mining, referred to the remarkable achievements of the province's industries and called for the presence and participation of the university's professors in the think tank and brainstorming sessions of the organization. He also considered the role of this university in advancing the province's industry to be very important and added that the development of the university's programs should be aligned with the needs of the province's industries; for instance, fields like metallurgy and materials engineering are greatly needed in the province. Engineer Ali Pour regarded the development of nanotechnology and high-tech industries as essential for strengthening the province's industries.
It is noteworthy that in this meeting, there was an agreement on establishing a house of industry and university, an industrial clinic for identifying industrial problems, and an industrial research center to carry out projects and resolve issues.
