According to the Public Relations of the University: Concurrent with the commemoration of Police Week, a seminar on the harms and warnings of cyberspace was held in the Shahid Akhondi Conference Hall of Qom University of Technology, organized by the University Security Department, attended by Colonel Ghanbari, the Head of Information and Security Police of Qom Province, and cyber police experts.
In this seminar, Captain Hosseini, a cyber police expert, announced that there are 23 million active Telegram users in Iran and added that since the founders of Telegram are Zionists, and their servers and equipment are in England, with its main management in Tel Aviv, nevertheless, 75 percent of Telegram's members are Iranian.
He emphasized the importance of cyberspace, stating: We Iranians can make very efficient use of cyberspace and even stand against cultural attacks through it, to the extent that the Supreme Leader (may his blessings be upon him) states: The importance of cyberspace is as great as that of the Revolution itself.

Furthermore, Colonel Ghanbari pointed out the protocols set by the Jews, stating: One of the most important plans in the Jewish protocols is the collapse of the educational systems of Muslim countries. Today, universities are the target of the Jewish agenda.
Colonel Ghanbari, the Head of Information and Security Police of Qom Province, added: Our academic community, with a correct understanding of the enemy’s goals, can easily stand against their evil plots and schemes. If professors and students properly recognize the consequences of drugs and alcohol, we won’t face problems in these areas at universities. He highlighted that our contemporary society needs sustainable security, which will only be achieved through the cooperation of every community member under the slogan (All together for security and peace).

At the end, Dr. Khoshnavisan, the President of Qom University of Technology, expressed his satisfaction with the holding of this event and added: God willing, with increased cooperation and interaction between the university and the police, we hope to hold more seminars in this field to minimize social harms at Qom University of Technology with greater awareness among students.
This ceremony concluded with a contest and the awarding of valuable prizes to three participants in the contest.
