According to the public relations office of the university: On the occasion of the day commemorating the Imams' descendants and sacred shrines, the university board and staff of Qom Industrial University, with the efforts of the Office of the Representative of the Supreme Leader, visited the Noor Ali shrine located in the Karamjan village of Qahak District in Qom Province.
His noble lineage traces back through four intermediaries to Imam Zain al-Abidin (peace be upon him).
Imamzadeh Noor Ali (peace be upon him), who is one of the early revered Sadat Ashrafi Hosseini emigrants to Qom, enjoyed extraordinary respect and was adorned with asceticism and piety. After his son’s migration to Qom, his honor increased significantly.
This esteemed Imamzadeh relocated to one of the villages of Qom (Karamjan) due to the intense heat of Qom in the summer season until he passed away in the early third century AH and was buried in the Karamjan village.

The reason for naming him Noor Ali is not definitively known; some believe that since he is the noble descendant of Imam Ali ibn al-Hussein Zain al-Abidin (peace be upon him), he was therefore called "Noor Ali." His blessed shrine is located 42 kilometers from Qom city, and many miracles have been attributed to him.
