According to the university's public relations office: In addition to the establishment of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the establishment of the Martyr Shahriari Sports Hall, the establishment of the Mashkoue Al-Sadat Library, the establishment of Informatics Workshop No. 2, the renovation and upgrading of the Martyr Akhoundi Conference Hall, and the equipping of Informatics Workshop No. 1, the student dormitories have also been renovated and equipped. Currently, the university officials are prepared to host students honorably in the new academic year.
In this regard, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the president of Qom University of Technology, stated: The Martyr Hajji dormitory for male students and the Azadagan dormitory with capacities of 176 and 150 individuals respectively, along with the Farhang dormitory for female students with a capacity of 200 individuals, are ready to accommodate students in the new academic year.
He added: Blocks No. 5 and 3, 4 of the Farhang dormitory for female students belong to the students of Qom University of Technology. Each block has 2 floors with 2 units, and each unit is equipped with 3 rooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom.
Dr. Rezaei Nour said: The Martyr Hajji dormitory for male students has 7 floors with 22 units, and each unit is equipped with 2 rooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Additionally, the Azadagan dormitory for male students is a 5-story building equipped to accommodate 21 rooms, 5 kitchens, and 12 bathrooms.
The president of Qom University of Technology highlighted the improvement in the welfare facilities of the student dormitories compared to last year, noting: Painting the walls, replacing carpets, separating the study hall from the television room, establishing a sports hall, counseling and health rooms, expanding the wireless network along with the installation of advanced antennas, and increasing internet bandwidth to 120 megabits were among the measures taken to enhance the well-being of students in the student dormitories.
