Student Demands Follow-up Conference with the Presence of Engineer Amir Abadi, Representative of Qom

The conference addressing student demands was held on the sidelines of the annual assembly of the Islamic Students Society of Qom University of Technology, with the presence of Engineer Amir Abadi, the representative of the Qom people in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and Dr. Akhundi, the president of Qom University of Technology, on Tuesday, May 28.
According to the university's public relations: In this conference, Mr. Amir Abadi provided a brief report on the activities undertaken to meet the existing needs of Qom University of Technology.
He added: Qom University of Technology is an important and essential need for the province, and discussions about merging or dissolving it are completely unfounded. As representatives of the Qom province, we will never allow such matters to arise, and if a university is to be merged, it should be part of Qom University of Technology.
Amir Abadi continued: We will do our utmost to bring Qom University of Technology closer to its desired position.
At the end, the representative of the Qom people emphasized: The quality of education must be prioritized at this university, and hopefully, the officials will focus on expanding the disciplines towards graduate studies and establishing a campus for Qom University of Technology.
Following this conference, Dr. Akhundi, the university president, gave a speech. In response to the students' questions, Dr. Akhundi presented a report on the upcoming plans of the university to the attendees.
