Simultaneously with the fortieth day of the passing of Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani, a seminar marking half a century of resistance was held with the presence of the Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic Coalition Party at the Industrial University of Qom.
According to the Public Relations Office of the university: Simultaneously with the fortieth day of the passing of Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani, a seminar on half a century of resistance, attended by Asadollah Badamchian, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic Coalition Party at the Industrial University of Qom, was organized with the presence of Dr. Akhundi, the interim head of the university, Mr. Arab, the esteemed advisor to the governor, Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Zakeri, the political director of the Qom governorate, professors, students, and a number of media representatives, organized by the Student Basij.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic Coalition Party, during this seminar, elaborated on the personality traits of Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani and stated: He regarded service and responsibility in the Assembly of Experts as his religious duty.
He pointed out that sincerity was one of the main characteristics of Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani, emphasizing: He was in no way pursuing fame or responsibility; if he accepted a duty, it was purely because he considered it a religious obligation.
Badamchian noted: Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani had studied under scholars like Imam Khomeini (RA), Ayatollah Borujerdi, and Allameh Tabatabai, enduring difficult and challenging circumstances and was aware of contemporary issues.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic Coalition Party stated: Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani was a person who was not harmed by any storm, was very steadfast in the path of the Islamic system and revolution, and always tried to properly fulfill the responsibilities that were entrusted to him.
Badamchian added: His life is a lesson and an example for all those who wish to step forward in the path of knowledge, revolution, Islamic governance, and serving the community.
