(Political meeting attended by the Basij employees of the Velayat Madar Industrial University of Qom)
According to the public relations of the university: On the occasion of Basij Week, the Basij employees of the Velayat Madar Industrial University of Qom participated in the memorial ceremony for Basij Week and the political meeting of Basij Region on Wednesday, 92/9/6.
At the beginning of this ceremony, Colonel Boualhossaini, the commander of the Basij Organization of Qom Province, welcomed the attendees and commemorated Basij Week, saying: "We view the proximity of this week to Ashura as a good omen. Because Imam Khomeini (RA) said: 'We do not fear foreign enemies; if they threaten us, we are the children of Ashura, and if they impose sanctions on us, we are the children of Ramadan.'"
Dr. Hosseini, a veteran Basij member, continued by stating that Basij Week reminds us of the valor of the Basij members. He acknowledged that the eight years of sacred defense have vaccinated our country against foreign aggression and have proven to the world that Iranians will stand against oppression.
He added: "At the beginning of the formation of Basij in Iran, Basij members took up arms to protect their country. Then they engaged in construction and combating cultural aggression from enemies. Now, Basij members have turned to scientific jihad and are leading in the field of nuclear activities."
The ceremony concluded with a Q&A session where attendees asked questions of Dr. Hosseini, the speaker of the meeting.
