According to the public relations office of the university: The first conference in the series "Towards the Sky" on the topic of compatibility was held with the presence of Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Dehnavy, organized by the Counseling and Health Center of Qom Industrial University on Tuesday, December 23, 2015, in the Shahid Akhundi conference hall of this university.
In this conference, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Dehnavy stated that young people should not fall into the trap of fleeting romances and that marriages should be based on shared morals and beliefs. He added that the issue of marriage is a very important topic in the life of each individual, and young people should not take this important matter lightly; it is necessary for them to approach marriage based on mutual understanding.
Dr. Dehnavy expressed that in the matter of marriage, we should pay attention to the principle of economic compatibility; because marriages based on similar economic and social status are more likely to be successful.
He continued, saying that in marriages where the spouses are not equal in economic status, the likelihood of separation is high, and it is better for young couples to heed these points in order to have a successful marriage.
Dr. Dehnavy emphasized that our youth should also pay attention to the principle of cultural compatibility for marriage, taking into account the issue of cultural differences seriously, and it is preferable for individuals to marry from similar cultures.
Referring to the engagement period, he stated: the engagement period is a time for deep understanding between the man and woman, and during this time, their understanding of each other is somewhat established.

He emphasized that if there are many disagreements during this period, they can prevent the potential harms that may arise in the future from marriage.
Dehnavy clarified that the four principles of compatibility in marriage include the principles of belief compatibility, religious compatibility, family compatibility, and cultural compatibility.
This religious expert on family matters concluded by stating that the element of affection is the key to the shared life of couples, and the use of force, nagging, and bullying in a shared life will have destructive effects.
Finally, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Dehnavy answered students' questions.
