The Deputy Minister of Student Affairs at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology: The presence of benefactors in universities has not yet been culturally established.
According to the university's public relations: The Deputy Minister of Science, Research, and Technology and the Head of the Student Affairs Organization, along with their entourage, inaugurated the free student cafeteria at Qom Industrial University. Dr. Dadashpour, the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology, regarded the presence of benefactors in universities as one of the main needs of the Ministry, adding that the entry of benefactors into universities is very vital. He noted that benefactors have performed well in school construction; however, unfortunately, the culture of benefactor entry into universities has not yet been established. The Head of the Student Affairs Organization stated that in leading universities around the world, benefactors are considered one of the largest financial resources for universities. He pointed out the shortage of dormitories, especially married student housing, and said that by creating special facilities for married students in universities, students would be encouraged to marry more. All officials must pay special attention to the construction of married dormitories. Dr. Dadashpour, noting the recent advancements of Qom Industrial University, including the attraction of international students, mentioned that though Qom Industrial University is at the beginning of its international journey, it has performed very well and has attracted an appropriate number of international students. He emphasized the need to create vibrancy in universities and added that Qom Industrial University possesses significant sports potential, as demonstrated by the medals won in student sports Olympiads, which should be enhanced with support from the Ministry of Science and Technology and assistance from benefactors. Dr. Rezaei Noor, the President of Qom Industrial University, in this meeting highlighted the recent advances of the university, stating that achieving the first rank in graduate employment at the bachelor's level and ninth in master's employment among other universities, as well as the superior research rankings of faculty and students in national and provincial festivals, reflects the persistence and unity of the Qom Industrial University academic community. He pointed out the students' demands, stating that the lack of owned dormitories is one of the fundamental problems of this university that needs to be resolved quickly with support and assistance from officials. He added that due to the youthful nature of this university, officials, faculty, and students have a very good relationship with one another. For instance, Qom Industrial University was one of the few universities that, with the help of officials, faculty, and students, established the Al-Ma'souma Al-Karimah service center during the Arbaeen pilgrimage in Karbala. He regarded the activities of the student mobilization, student organizations, and scientific associations at this university as very successful and added that given the active involvement of Qom Industrial University's students, the support of ministerial and provincial officials for this university is considered an effective investment for Islamic Iran. Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Ghobani Mobin, the representative of the Supreme Leader at the university, remarked that the youthfulness of the officials, faculty, and staff at this university has created enthusiasm and vitality at Qom Industrial University. He added: Together, with the collaboration of all dear colleagues, we will advance the initiatives of the office in the best possible way, to such an extent that the cultural and spiritual programs of Qom Industrial University could serve as a model for other universities across the country. The meeting and discussions of Dr. Dadashpour with the officials of the Student and Cultural Affairs Department, representatives of student mobilization, Islamic Society organizations, the secretary of scientific associations, the student council, and the representative of international students, as well as the inauguration of the free student cafeteria, were among his other activities at Qom Industrial University.
