The participation of Qom Industrial University in addressing the issues of the province's industry.

The President of the University and the Director of Industry Relations at Qom Technical University visited the plastics company located in Qom province.
According to the university's public relations; Dr. Rezaei Nour, the President, and Dr. Rasti, the Director of Industry Relations at Qom Technical University, along with Dr. Rouhani, the manager of the Quality Control Association of the province, and Engineer Khaki, the head of the Chamber of Commerce of the province, visited the plastics company in Qom.
During this visit, some of the challenges and issues facing the province's industry were discussed and examined. Among these problems is the decline in exports of industrial products from the province to Iraq. Additionally, the export of industrial products from the province to Qatar and Oman was raised, which certainly requires a review of the relevant standards for exporting to these countries.
The production and marketing of injection molds and PET in the province face difficulties, for which it was agreed that Qom Technical University, with the participation of distinguished and active faculty and students, would effectively market these products to the target community and prepare a collection of these molds to present to industry professionals, thereby addressing this issue in the province's industry.
Furthermore, the problem of high electricity consumption for PET molds caused by heating the molds with hot oil will be resolved by the faculty and students of the university.
At the end of this visit, it was agreed that through the signing of an educational and research memorandum of understanding between Qom Technical University and the Chamber of Commerce of the province, Qom Technical University would provide necessary cooperation to address the problems and issues facing the province's industry.
