The commemoration ceremony for Employee Day was held with the presence of the university's board and staff at Qom University of Technology, observing health protocols in the campus of the university.
According to the university's public relations, during this ceremony, which took place after the recitation of the Ziyarat Ashura and a eulogy commemorating the martyrdom of Seyyed and Martyr Imam Hussein (A), Hojjatoleslam Dr. Ghorbani, head of the Office of the Supreme Leader's Representative, after enumerating the fruits and blessings of mourning for Imam Hussein (A) during the month of Muharram, discussed the ethics of employee conduct based on the Ali principles and religious teachings.
He regarded Nahj al-Balagha as one of the best guides for human life and added: Letter 53 of Nahj al-Balagha, which Imam Ali (A) wrote to Malik al-Ashtar when he arrived at the governorship of Egypt, is very instructive and practical for our contemporary lives.
The head of the Office of the Supreme Leader's Representative at the university stated: This letter contains 12 practical points and is one of the most interesting letters of Nahj al-Balagha. In it, the necessity of self-cultivation, methods of interacting with people in society, avoidance of arrogance and self-admiration, people-centeredness, truthfulness, the necessity of confidentiality, principles and methods of effective leadership, and more are articulated in the most eloquent manner.
He added: If employees take these 12 points into consideration, they will have secured their worldly and otherworldly status.
Furthermore, Dr. Rezai Noor, the president of Qom University of Technology, while honoring the memory of Martyrs Rajai and Bahonar, stated: The staff of Qom University of Technology are young, active, and dynamic people; with the presence of these dedicated employees, a very bright future awaits the university.
He continued: The integrity, cooperation, empathy, and caring nature of the employees are among the most important factors contributing to the growth and advancement of Qom University of Technology. Thanks to God Almighty and your solidarity over the past two years, this university has made significant progress, which undoubtedly would not have been possible without your support and collaboration.
At the end of this ceremony, a gift was presented by lottery to 5 winners of the virtual test on the Tenets of Imam Khomeini (RA), which was organized by the cultural management department, as a token of remembrance.
