According to the university's public relations: The commemoration ceremony for Engineer's Day was held with the presence of Dr. Khoshnavisan, the president of Qom University of Technology, staff, and students in the Shahid Akhundi Conference Hall of the university.
At this ceremony, organized by the students of the Mechanical Engineering Association, Dr. Khoshnavisan, while honoring the day of Khawaja Nasir al-Din Tusi and congratulating Engineer's Day, added: I am very pleased to be among you students, and this gathering evokes memories of my own enthusiastic student days.
He highlighted the importance of youth and student life, stating: The future of Iran is in the hands of you young people. For example, the enthusiastic participation of the public, especially the youth and academic circles, on the seventh of Esfand at the polling stations illustrates the significance of young people's presence in the pivotal arenas of Islamic Iran. I hope that with the active and revolutionary presence of you students, along with experienced professors, we can create a brilliant future for Qom University of Technology and Islamic Iran.
This program continued with speeches by Engineer Mohammad Ali Abadi and Engineer Ebrahim Nabati, top entrepreneurs in the province regarding entrepreneurship and the connection between industry and academia.
At the end, Mr. Mohammad Daneshmand, Mustafa Tavakoli, Soheil Bagherian, Reza Karimi, Sadegh Badaghi, Seyed Mohsen Hosseini, and Ms. Philum were honored as active secretaries of the scientific associations at Qom University of Technology with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and valuable gifts.
